BETHANY // ALAN [MARRIED, NAZARETH, TX]

There's just something about the closeness of a small town wedding that is so homey. Each part of the day had sweet moments wrapped in love and tradition. Before the wedding, the bridesmaids circled Bethany and tearfully told her all the reasons they loved her and how proud they were of her. Bethany's dad performed the ceremony in the same church that he and Bethany's mom were married in 40 years ago. The reception was in Alan's hometown of Nazareth - a small community of about 300 people where they had friends preparing and serving the meal.  After barbecue and cake, all the guests made their way down "the hill". It's a tradition of about 50 years (according to sweet guest that gave me a short history lesson) that the groomsmen build something for the bride to sit in and the groom pull her up the hill. People walk or drive alongside them, honking and cheering. Alan's groomsmen built a steel base with wheels to pull Bethany in, oh and they out a CLAW FOOT TUB on top. This hill was no small hill but with the help of his dad, groomsmen and bridesmaids they made it to the top and danced the night away.

Thank you for asking us to be a part of your sweet day, Bethany and Alan!

BROOKLYN // NATHAN [MARRIED MARQUARDT RANCH]

These two had the most beautiful day in the Hill country at the Marquardt Ranch! Southern Elegance made sure that each detail was perfect and completely tailored to Brooklyn and Nathan's personalities. Brooklyn and Nathan were completely present and smitten all day. When it started pouring while we were taking photos and they just grabbed a drink, hung out and waited for the cloud to pass, totally taking it in stride. Wishing these two all the best in this beautiful new adventure!

MORGAN//HEATH [LEGACY EVENT CENTER, LUBBOCK, TX

These two, their families, their wedding, all of it is just the epitome of love and happiness. I came to adore Morgan more and more every time we got together to shoot, eat cupcakes, and discuss details. In fact, I was a little sad after the wedding was over knowing I wouldn't get to see all of these precious people nearly as much as I wanted to. It seemed like, every time I turned around there was another sweet gift being given or tears being shared. We are so grateful to have been a part of their wedding!

MORGAN // PHILLIP [MARRIED, TEXAS TECH CLUB]

Ya'll. These two are SO cute. Their day was incredible. Between the beautiful TTU Club (hellllo natural light), the (always) fabulous work of Southern Elegance, and these two beautiful people, it couldn't have gone wrong. When Phillip and Morgan aren't looking adoringly at each other or laughing with someone, they are treating everyone around them with such kindness and grace. I couldn't adore them or their families more and we were so grateful they asked us to be a part of their day!
