ASHLEY // TODD WEDDING

This was our last wedding of 2015. It was a bit of relief to be finished, but it was also a great time to implement everything we learned from shooting more weddings than we ever had before into one event. And I have to say I'm pretty pleased with the results.

But enough about us, this was Ashley and Todd's day. Having an outdoor wedding in October can always be a bit of a gamble, but they got a particularly lovely autumn day, free of any pesky West Texas wind and unseasonably warm. The gorgeous autumn sunset left us with some amazing golden light to create some stunning images.

The decor was understated and rustic, but Todd made sure to insert some Houston Astros items for himself. (Todd was a rather talented baseball player in high school and college.) In all, it was a wonderful finish to a wonderful year.

Thank all of you that have supported us so, so, so much. We can't wait to see you all in 2016!

STACI // TAYLOR WEDDING

At outdoor weddings in West Texas, sometimes the weather works with you, and sometimes it works against you. Staci and Taylor had the latter, but they didn't let that keep them from enjoying their day.

It helps, that Staci was probably one of the bubbliest brides we've ever worked with, but it was also a function of their perspective on the day. While the details and accouterments were important and certainly didn't work out to be ideal for the day because of the weather, these two were just happy they were joining together to pay too much attention to the "un-perfect" day.

Which is probably where the beauty of their wedding really resided: In the love and affection these two shared for each other.
